Taipei / Feburary 23, 2019 – HKI Corporation held a topping out ceremony for the “HKI Dazhi” on Feb. 23 that was opened by remarks from HKI Chairman Michael Song. Key participants in the project, including architects Hung Ming-Kuen and Shieh Yo-Shawn and representatives of Shen Cheng Construction, the AI Group and China Real Estate Management, and other dignitaries were on hand to witness this important milestone.

The “HKI Dazhi” commercial building will have seven floors above ground and three basement levels. The first floor is being set aside as prime retail space, while the 500 square-meter spaces on floors 2 to 6 will be leased to a mix of large-scale domestic and overseas restaurant brands featuring different culinary themes. The 7th floor will be home to HKI headquarters. Once the building opens, it will undoubtedly emerge as an important new landmark in the Dazhi commercial district.

In his remarks, Chairman Song thanked all of the project’s participants for their hard work, and said he hoped the remaining construction and process of identifying tenants will continue smoothly and come to a satisfactory conclusion. He also looked forward to seeing the “HKI Dazhi” become a vibrant, fashionable space in the Dazhi commercial district and provide a diverse range of exquisite dining choices.
