HKI Corporation to Hold a Grand Groundbreaking Ceremony for Zhongshan Juan

Taipei / March 27, 2015 – The groundbreaking ceremony for HKI’s residential project Zhongshan Juan was started at 10 a.m. on 11th March amidst much fanfare and a round of lion dance performances. The ceremony was presided by the founder of Jiahe Textile Mr. Song Liang-Hao and HKI General Manager Michael Song. They were joined in the groundbreaking ceremony by architect Zhang Wei-Zhe, and representatives from Shen Cheng Construction Co. Ltd., China Real Estate Management and Li Chen Advertising Company. Guests from across industries such as VIPs from Lealea Group, Fabulous Group, Mega Bank, Chang Hwa Bank and Standard Chartered Bank were also present to witness the ceremony.

In his speech, HKI General Manager Michael Song shared that since the establishment of the company three years ago, its first residential project, HKI Ho-Li Residence, sold out the year before and the project is about to be completed for handover. Using the word ‘Juan’ (which means outstanding in mandarin) in this latest project, HKI aims to build an exceptional building along the historic street of Zhongshan North Road, which would become a representative project for the company in time to come.

Even though the famous Taipei Ambassador Hotel is just beside the project site, architect Zhang remarked in his speech that as Zhongshan Juan is located in a quiet avenue along Section 2 of Zhongshan North Road, it has become a unique quiet haven in the midst of the bustling city centre. HKI plans to build 13-stories over ground and four underground, and to create flexible interior spaces suitable for city life. The front and back façade will be built using stone material decorated with unique metal elements, thereby creating a classic luxury home for buyers.

Shen Cheng Construction Co. Ltd. will handle the HKI Zhongshan Juan project. The groundbreaking ceremony came to a successful close amidst the joyous crackling sounds of the firecrackers. This signals the official commencement of works at Zhongshan Juan, and the start of a new chapter for HKI.
